FLEET STRENGTH

The Department inducted 8(Eight) new buses for City Service Operation. With the induction of these buses, the Fleet Strength of the Department is at 236 which includes 1 (One) Breakdown vehicle, 1(One) Truck and 1(One) Mobile Van, with which the entire operational activity of the department is carried out. The department is contemplating to phase out 34 buses by way of condemnation. Even after phasing out of 34 Buses the Fleet comprises of more over-aged buses which need to be replaced for safe and efficient operation of the services towards better service delivery to the public as well to improve physical and revenue performance of the Department.
