OPERATING STATIONS

The Operating Stations carry out the daily operational activities and the Station Officer is the administrative as well as operational head at the station level who are responsible for scheduling the crews and services, proper accounting and accountability of revenue.

A. Main Operating Stations and manning Officers:
1.   Dimapur Station                –           Asstt. General Manager

2.   Kohima Station                 –           Asstt. General Manager

3.   Mokokchung Station       –           Station Superintendent

4.   Mon Station                      –           Station Superintendent

5.   Tuensang Station              –           Station Superintendent

6.   Zunheboto Station                –  Asstt. General Manager

7.   Wokha Station                  –           Asstt. General Manager

8.   Phek Station                      –           Station Superintendent

9.   Kiphire Station                  –           Station Superintendent

10. Peren Station                     –           Asstt. General Manager

11.Longleng                              –           Station Superintendent

B. Sub-Stations and manning Officers:

  1. Imphal                         –           Asstt. Station Superintendent
  2. Pfutsero Sub-Station –           Asstt. Station Superintendent/Asstt. Enforcement Officer.
  3. Mariani Sub-Station –           Asstt. Station Superintendent/Asstt. Enforcement Officer.
  4. Meluri Sub-Station –           Yard Master.

 

C.Under Asstt-In-Charge:

The Stations and Sub-Stations of the Department are the operating units manned by Assistant General Manager/Station Superintendent and Asstt. Station Superintendent/Assistant Incharge of Sub-stations depending on the volume of service operations. In addition, Enforcement  personnel are attached with all the operating units and at strategic locations for surveillance and vigilance over revenue pilferage and other malpractices by the crews on duty and also to prevent ticketless travel by passengers.

Besides, each operating unit has its own maintenance centre under technical in-charge of Foremen/Mechanic-In-Charge for routine repair, maintenance and upkeep of the buses to meet the requirements for daily and uninterrupted operation of the services.
