SAFETY MEASURES

The Department has prescribed a maximum speed limit of the buses at 30 KMs. for Hill and 60 KMs. for Plain Sectors respectively. With an aim to ensure zero risk and safety of passengers, breath analyser was issued to all the stations and sub-stations to regularly check and monitor the conduct of drivers driving under the influence of alcohol.

The Department implements the Government policy of ‘No Fault Liability’ under which, in times of unfortunate accidents, immediate relief is extended to effected passenger and next of kin:
