INTRODUCTION OF NEW SERVICES (2020-21)

Though the Department is to earn more revenue by operating on lucrative and revenue potential routes, demands from public for NST service has to be considered taking into account the lack of transportation means while also to fulfill the objective of providing basic transport facility and aspiration of the people in remote and rural areas causing losses.
During 2020-21, under tremendous operation and fund constraints, 4 (Four) new Buses were procured for City Bus Services.
Additionally, the Department has introduced 4 (Four) New Bus Services giving Transportation ease to rural commuters in the following places.
- Dimapur – Rüzazho Village
- Wokha – New Riphyim
- Tuensang – ITC (Dan)
- Dimapur – Chessore
