The Civil Engineering Cell of the Department attached to the Directorate functions under 1(one) Executive Engineer, 1(one) Sub-Divisional Officer and 2(Two) Junior Engineers which looks after construction, repair and maintenance of both functional and residential buildings of the Department.

The Department has taken up infrastructure development and the status of the ongoing projects are as below:

A- NEC:

  1. Construction of Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT) at Kohima has been physically completed and is due for operation, pending due to land encumbrances at the Project site.
  2. Construction of Truck Terminus (ISTT) at Kohima is in good progress with 80% physical progress of the work

B- NLCPR:

Construction of Bus & Truck Terminus (BTT) at New Peren Dist. H.Q. has achieved 80%  physical work progress which is expected to be completed within 5(Five) months upon release of the balance and final installment of the State and Central Share.

C- CSS:

  1. Construction of Inter State Bus & Truck Terminus (ISBTT) at Tuensang with 80% physical work progress is expected to be completed within 6 (Six) months.
  2. Work for Conversion of Central Workshop to Bus Station, Night parking cum Market complex at Dimapur is at 20% Physical progress.
